Behind the Una mesa [A Table] ceramic studio, is artist Elena López Lanzarote, whose practice is based in Valencia, Spain.
Elena creates geometrical and organic-shaped homewares and non-utilitarian objects in primary colours. This vase in black clay looks reminds us of the harder side of winter, along with her mugs in the show. All her pieces are one-off. Its chimney would look perfect in a home with a spray of dried flowers.
