Mironesia is a textile brand founded by Alba McFarlane in Barcelona. Miro is the maori word for cotton, and nesia comes from the Greek word "nisi" meaning isle. All pieces are handmade in very small batches using local, natural materials.
Japanese-inspired freshness. These are pomegranates, the fruit of Persephone, but the soothing linear, airy style against the white cotton give the impression of sakuras, the flowers of renewal and the season, reinforced by the japanese simplicity of Mironesia's work.
Handmade with Spanish-grown cotton from integrated farming practices.
The piece has wooden slats at top and bottom and a string for hanging.
